Afterlife Conference Exhibitor Information
What You'll Need to Know
1. How do I get a prime spot in the exhibit area?
Because our exhibit area is centrally-located at the heart of the conference, there are no premier spaces. Positions are assigned at the discretion of our exhibit manager according to electrical needs, available space and making sure that similar products are not grouped together.
2. How many attendees do you expect? What are your audience demographics?
Our attendance varies between 200-400 each year. Our audience is about 70% female, with an average age of 45. Their primary interests are spirituality related to death, grief and the journey of the soul, as well as related practices that include meditation, shamanism, healing, psychic development, dream work, end-of-life care and out-of-body journeying. About 30% come from the local area, and the rest travel from out-of-state and out of the country.
3. Recommended products and pricing
The majority of our attendees are middle-income, so high-ticket items like an $800 necklace or a $5000 meditation retreat are not likely to sell. We recommend that you offer a wide selection, from very low-priced items in the $5 - $10 range, to no more than $500 at the top end. Clothing and jewelry sell very well. So do books, CDs and metaphysical supplies such as essential oils, incense, singing bowls and related home decor. Exhibitors may not provide personal services such as massage, psychic readings or counseling at the conference, but they are free to promote these services.
4. Special requirements
We can provide a limited number of electrical outlets, and we will assign these on a first-come, first-served basis to those who need them. There may be an extra charge for electricity in some cases, and the hotel will bill you directly for additional requirements, such as a telephone line or hard-wired internet.

If you are a medium who wishes to offer readings for conference attendees...
Exhibitors are not allowed to provide fee-based professional services (such as counseling or readings) at the conference. As an exhibitor, you may hand out flyers, sell products and promote your services, but you may not provide those services on-site without specific approval. If you are a medium, we have a vendor category called "Mediums-at-Large" (MAL). As a MAL, you can provide consultations either in the vendor area or in your hotel room. We will promote your services by posting your information on our website and in our emails, and interested parties will be asked to contact you directly to schedule and manage appointments.
There are only three MAL positions available. To be considered you must:
. Provide a sample (free) phone reading for one of our board members
. Have a professional-quality photo and website
. Sign a "release of liability" form
. Purchase a medium-at-large table in our vendor area
. We are looking for evidential mediums only
. Priority consideration will be given to mediums who are actively involved with email marketing, social media, publishing,
public speaking and other communication outlets
Only mediums-at-large will be permitted to charge a fee for readings or consultations in the vendor area.
